The port city Rotterdam is after Amsterdam the largest city in the Netherlands. It is in the west of the Netherlands and belongs to the province of South Holland. Moreover, here are leading the Meuse and Rhine rivers, and flowing from there into the North Sea.

The nearly 800-year-old city is significant since its inception an important trade and economic point. Significant quantities of goods, capital goods and for example oil, fruits and coal are transported from Rotterdam harbour from all over Europe. Thus, in this port not only traded but also transport and logistics operation, and many jobs will be created. From the port, the goods advanced then through the rivers Rhine and Meuse.
